          Yes, it has been found out that a dating site has stolen about 250,000 Facebook user's personal information on Facebook, and then reproduced those information in their website, without the Facebook users' knowledge.

       It has been reported that websites like Lovely-faces.com, Alessandro Ludovic and Paolo Cirio. are using the personal information of Facebook users, including their names and photos, in their website and give the other members of their website to arrange a date with the facebook user, which can be you too.
     Then the member is sent to the Facebook profile page of that person whose information is stolen.
         This has really proved to be dangers, showing that social networking sites like Facebook are not safe. The creators of Facebook have claimed that Facebook is safe as their is an option to maintain privacy in Facebook and yes, we can evidently see that most users do not have much privacy in their Facebook profile, making anyone to access their profile page in Facebook

                      Facebook is indeed a perfect website to spend sometime online with friends and have a great time being there, but it is also a perfect place for such theft and illegal thing to happen, without the user even coming to know about it.
         I tell you, that this thing is really so happening and in the near future, such theft may even grow

Getting yourself listed in search engine can allow anyone, to just check google or any search engine and search you, and get to know about you. So better be safe in facebook and do not list yourself in search engines for your Facebook account.

3. Do not Put your address and Phone number in Facebook
       If you want your friends to know where you're living and to share your phone number, you can simply send them as a Facebook message, but sharing it in your Facebook profile is very dangerous. So if you wanna be safe, do no put your phone number and address at your Facebook profile.

4. Do not Put Your Date of Birth on Facebook
       If you ever lost your password or have any security problems with an account you have, the first thing they are going to ask you is your date of birth. Therefore, letting your date of birth go public in your Facebook is not a good idea and so do not put your date of birth in your Facebook profile and if you do, simply remove it.

5. Never Share where you are going

conducted by Infosec, outside Liverpool Street Station, London, women were far more likely to give away their passwords than males. The survey was part of a social engineering exercise for security awareness.
About 45 per cent women shared their password in exchange for chocolate bars with fake market researchers, whereas only 10 per cent of men gave away their login details. Now if you ask for login details and passwords in exchange for something that’s tempting, then people tend to melt easily. A poll by Cadbury revealed that 52 percent of women preferred chocolate over sex.

While nearly 15 per cent males would give up chocolate for sex, (obviously). It’s just a password which I can
change over the next hour. Many may share this opinion, while a fraud worth a couple of millions could take place using their account details.
